We got prezzies in the mail on Friday and Saturday! Well, if we are going to be truthful, Mom got prezzies.
First was the No-No bracelet Angel’s and Isabella’s Mom Sharla made for her. You may have seen it on their blog, Beaded Tail. Isn’t it beautiful? It’s in Mom’s favorite colors of aqua and purple. Lily picked it up in her mouth and tried to walk off with it last night. First words out of Mom’s mouth were, “No No.” MOL.
Yesterday we received the two items Mom won in the auction for Katnip Lounge‘s The Baby.
One was the book, The Zen of Max, by our furiend Lou Belcher, who has painted portraits of some of us. This package and book smelled of Knuckles and Bugsy (formerly of HH and the Boys and now part of Lou’s personal blog, Lou Belcher Fine Art). We kept trying to open the book and turn the pages to see if they had sent any furs along with the book. They didn’t. Phooey!
All these prezzies have had the most seductive smells. Best of all was the one from Ms. Stella O’Houligan, on a more personal note. It contained one of the premium catnip quilts Stella’s Mom Stacy made to commemorate the 2014 BlogPaws Conference. It even has all our names on it. Mom still insists, however, that it is not for us. She says it is going in the guest room so we don’t fur it all up. Sheesh…has the woman never heard of lint rollers or washing machines? It’s imbedded with catnip. It’s for the cats! She claims to want it as a good souvenir of her trip, as opposed to the bad souvenir…that stoopid scorpion sting. We suppose that makes sense. Double phooey!
As Calista Jo demonstrates: The aromas are irresistible and pure heaven! (If you don’t want to hear the television in the background, turn off or down the sound on your computer.)
Mom sees the vascular surgeon this afternoon. She promises to let you know tomorrow how her recovery from the scorpion sting is progressing.
Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

What does she mean by “fur it all up” and why-oh-why would that be a problem?
Purrs,
Nissy
Those pressies are indeed first rate. Calista Jo gave a very good impression of a burrowing creature MOL. And we think the quilt is definitely for the kitties. Just meowing!!!
Dad read us Max’s book already so you will really enjoy that. We are glad our pals won that cool nip Quilt. Give it time I bet Mom will forget in a few weeks and you can sneak in and have at it.
We are still sending lots of purrs to Mom. This has really hung in way too long and we hope tomorrow is all good news.
Timmy and Family
What beautiful prezzies and prizes!!!
There are so many talented artisans in the cat blogging world!
We’ve been thinking about you so much lately…and are sending many purrs and prayers. We hope things go well with the surgeon and we look forward to your update.
(((love)))
Calista Jo, Your performance was RIVETING! I was just so distracted I could hardly pay attention to anything else on the blog. But I do hope your Mommy is getting better–I am sending her all my very best purrs! XOXOXOXO
Your Mom is being rude and unfair. She has that Blogpaws bag as a souvenir. Actually, I didn’t think she’s want to remember Vegas at all. I hope she is finally healing.
The mom LOVES the no-no bracelet! The colors are beautiful, she says. And we have a nip quilt like that. It is pawsome! You guys are really gonna enjoy it…we hope.
Those are lovely prezzies. I agree, catnip is for kitties so your mum should let you have the quilt, unless of course she is a secret nip sniffer herself. Sending purrs that her check up for the scorpion sting goes well.
Calista Jo, you are one fine Inspector and Snoopervisor! Lily, Leo says you have very good taste and sends his love.We all hope the doctor has good news this afternoon. Love to your Mommy!
the critters in the cottage xo
I love the quilt! Awesome! Glad you got some gifts to cheer you up!
Those are all very nice presents! We are all sending our very best purrs to that special Mom.
Wow, what a pile of presents! Presents are always a good thing. The bracelet is awesome…I’d try and take it too….the colours would go nicely with my eyes. Still think you should be able to use the catnip quilt. A human can not appreciate it as much as we can. They just don’t get it. Try and sneak in the spare room and use it….be quiet though as we don’t want mom to hear. Have a great day friends.
Hugs, Shoko http://canadiancats.wordpress.com
So many great presents! We can’t believe you guys don’t get to enjoy the catnip quilt! Maybe your mom secretly likes the nip too and is keeping it to herself…. 😉
Looking forward to the update on your mom’s scorpion sting. We have been purring, praying, and thinking of her.
Sampson sends lots of kitty-kisses to Astrid. And we all send love and hugs.
those are great presents, and mum and me hope you mummy is healing up nicely, bunny snuggles,xx Speedy
That bracelet is GORGEOUS! It is my fave colors too!!! You are going to love The Zen of Max….I reviewed it on the blog a looong time ago, great book, enjoy!
We love Beaded Tail’s “No No Bracelets”! If our Mommy tried making anything with beads here it would be called a lot more than just NO NO. Haha. We think you should get the catnip mat though.
We hope the appointment with the surgeon brings good news!
What is it about those bracelets that cause moms to go No-No? 🙂 We’re glad your mom loves her bracelet and hope you enjoy your other prezzies too! We have Ms. Stella’s human catnip quilts and love them!
Calista Jo you did a fantastic job of pawing that package. Now only if you had opposable thumbs!
We will be purring for your Mom.
♥♥♥
Nice prezzies! I will send you a crocheted catnip prezzy if you tell me where to send it?
We have that book and that nip quilt! Sadly, our Mommy doesn’t have a Beaded Tail bracelet, but she says yours is lovely. Her birthday is coming up, we might have to order her one. Don’t tell her, though. MOL!
Have a wonderful week, furriends and we’re still send healing purrs for your Mommy.

WOW! Lookit all that cool stuff you all got! That bracelet for your Mom is gorgeous…..maybe it will bring her extra good luck when she sees the vascular surgeon today – we are purring and praying that he says “YEP- healing up GREAT – I do GOOD work!!!!”…………we’ll be anxious to hear.
Hugs and Happy Monday
Sammy
Tell Mommy that the quilt is for YOU all, and momma can look at it and remember Blog Paws. It’s supposed to be furred.
Mommy and I have been wondering how your mommy is in regard to the scorpion sting. MY mommy has just been worried about that since you told her and the rest of us. That was a horrible terrible thing to happen.
How wonderful to receive all those nice gifts – especially if they came with some good sniffy sniffs! haha! Cute video!
Have a most happy week!
xo Catherine
What great pressies! We have a blogpaws quilt, and we have furred it up really thoroughly. Tell your mom that’s what it’s for!
Great pressies. We so hope all goes well this afternoon for mum. Our fingers and paws are crossed for her. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
That’s really beautiful prezzies ! But it’s not fair that your mom keeps the quilt for her own : nip is made for kitties ! Purrs
What!? I can’t believe your human is keeping that primo catnip quilt from you! That is so not fair! We all love the No No bracelet – especially my human!
Beautiful prezzies! The no-no bracelet is gorgeous! And we have always wanted to read The Zen Of Max and we bet you all will enjoy the catnip quilt for sure. Good thoughts and purrs to your Mom for her appointment tomorrow, we hope she gets good news.
That’s quite a haul!! And we agree…you should be able to USE THAT QUILT!!! A lot.
Getting prezzies is always fun.
