Thoroughly Poetic Thursday
For 2020 we are continuing with our habit of joining the poetry challenge offered by Teddy and Angel Sammy (Two Spoiled Cats). The photo their mom, Pam, selected for inspiration this week is below along with my poem.
My First Wheels
Vroom…vroom…vroom!
Look what I got for Christmas.
It’s just what I wanted from Santa.
I can’t wait to show my friends
And race them around the block.

Thankful Thursday
Just as we write a poem each Thursday, we also join Brian’s blog hop.
I am thankful to have had some warm weather this past week so I could finally get my bulbs in the ground. Now we need some good freezes so they’ll come up in the spring.
I am thankful that it is finally 2020. Last year was a pain, with eight months of construction following four months of the same in 2018. We are enjoying our new first-floor suite. I had been dragging my feet for years with regard to this project, but I am so happy we took the plunge. It has already made my life so much easier.
With winter here, the kitties are thankful to have heated floors in three rooms now. They are also super thankful for all the cool gifts they received for Christmas. I have promised them I will get some photos in the next few days so they can share next Thursday.
We are always thankful to all of you who support and follow us.
To join the hop, post on your blog for what you are thankful and then click on Brian’s badge.

Heated floors??? That must be pawsome!!
Happy New Year. Thank you for the Holiday greetings. The humans were so busy during the Holidays they couldn’t drop you a line. WE love the postcard.
Heated floors, yay! Enjoy your new renovated digs this year all.
We are so glad you are done construction. We have been through that and it is tough while you are in it but Wow when it is done. Heated floors sounds super and we live on one floor now and love it compared to the climb with the groceries. Great Poem too.
I love the poem. So many different angles on this photograph.
I’m thankful that your first floor suite is done. It does make life easier.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to mom. ♥
Someday, when we grow up, we’ll have heated floors too!
I simply love to walk around in bare feet…
That was a fun poem and terrific thankfuls, I wish we had heated floors. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Heated floors would be so nice. Great poem. XO
Oh, to be a child after Christmas again . . .
We remember when you didn’t think that project would EVER end!! We’re glad you and the kitties are all enjoying the addition.
Fun poem! That little one seems so proud of himself.
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle
Love the poem!! It was a fun photo to put words to we thought. Next week’s gives me the dizzies just looking at it. We hope that 2020 is the best year yet for the Blue Crew. We know how tough things were with construction and Sawyer’s seizures among other things but we’re starting FRESH – let’s hope things get way better for everyone!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
That is a sweet poem. I hope 2020 is a good one for you.
Heated floors sound pawsome!
A heated floor anywhere in this den we have would be a true thankful…alas don’t think that could ever be here…sigh…I was in an ancient castle in Europe once, and *they* had heated floors throughout! Imagine how they could have done that way back…I think it was built in the 1300’s or 1400’s…
Pipo and the pups would thoroughly love such a floor to bask on, esp if a sunpuddle could warm the top of them, MOL!
I think that poem is spot on! Vroom!
