Late post today and not because I was Black Friday shopping. I was just too over-stuffed and pooped last night and didn’t feel like doing it. But I already had done my fill-ins and prepared a Feline Friday photo, so I decided I couldn’t punt all together.
Feline/Friendship Friday Friday
For those of you who follow Dad Tom on Facebook, you will have already seen this photo (but not as a meme). However, I couldn’t let him have all the fun with it.
May I present our very own 20-pound, catnip-stuffed turkey.
Yesterday we had a gorgeous day with a temperature in the low 70s. We spent a good portion of the day on the catio with Kitties Blue. I suggested we put out the last of this year’s catnip. To be fair, Cooper Murphy shared a tiny amount with Astrid, Misty May, C.J. and Sawyer. On the unfair side of this equation, Cooper Murphy was the only cat to get a small bite or Cornish game hen.

Friendly Fill-Ins
Kitties Blue and I are sending a big post-Thanksgiving thank you to Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs) for providing us with the fun activity of completing four sentences especially selected by them. Here are this week’s sentences with my fill-ins in teal italics.
1. Why is veterinarian care so expensive?
2. On holidays, I always have a second serving of nothing in particular.
3. I’m eternally grateful for being a senior citizen.
4. ‘Tis the season for spending time with friends and family; though, that is a no-no this year.

Praying everyone stayed in their pod and still managed to have a great Thanksgiving. Regardless of the virus and the myriad of natural disasters that have occurred this year, we still have much for which to be thankful. At the top of that list for Dad Tom and I and Kitties Blue are our friends, which include all those who follow and support us. Thanks again!
A wee bit late, but wow, Cooper Murphy! How on earth did you get your gingery self into that pot??! MOL!
Haha. You fit purrfectly, Cooper Murphy!
Cooper Murphy, you made us MOL! Mom spent the day decorating yesterday so we’re a little late.

Cooper you should go into business as you really know how to corner the market. Very good photo and gave us all a big smile. Glad you had a good day at home and Dad liked those fill ins. Happy Day
Cornish Game Hen! Mom says she can’t remember the last time she saw one of those here in Canada! And the turkey (Cooper) looks like he was cooked purrfectly! We are still enjoying our catnip that Alex grew for us last summer. All 3 of us are “Nip Heads”. and a matter of fact we are agitating for some now!

I’m lucky – my nip plants are still going strong! Happy Thanksgiving!
It’s not the pot, Cooper Murphy…it’s the pawparazzi who needs to brush up their photography skills!
*wink*
Good answers! Hey Cooper Murphy, you look fabulous pal!
Cutest turkey ever. 🙂 Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Vet care is so expensive, I am fortunate to have found an excellent vet with good pricing about a year ago, but even so, with 9 cats it adds up. Have a nice weekend. XO
You might need a bigger pot, Cooper Murphy!
Happy Thanxgivin Aunty Janet an Unkell Tom!

I am always delighted when I get to see Cooper Murphy. He’s a handsome mancat.
Love all your fill-ins. I love #3. I’m happy I’m one too.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to your mom. ♥
Well that’s a good sized turkey alright and done to a “golden” color which is wonderful – complete with catnip stuffing. My Mom did a little Black Friday shopping early – her $60 jeans were on sale for $25. WOO HOO. We’re just hanging out today and relaxing – too much food yesterday!
Happy Friday!
Hugs, Teddy
